About Me

My name is Johanna, and I live and dance in Helsinki, Finland. Ballet is my hobby, not my profession - but it is my passion! Some people (as in all non-dancing people) would probably call me a ballet-geek, and they are absolutely right.

I was a late-starter at twenty-one, and have since danced for some 18+ years. But it wasn't until August 2010, when I took my first pointe class. Ballet has been been hard work (pointe even more so), but it continues to make me happy. Fortunately there is no retirement age for the adult recreational dancer! As the title says, I will pointe until I drop.. And have the best time while I'm at it.
